Who are some role models in your life?
I’ve been blessed to have some great teammates and coaches since high school. I’ve been coached by guys like JaMarcus Russell, Antonio Coleman, and Chris Casher, and I’ve shared locker rooms with 4-star players like Carde Smith and Taijh Overton, along with my current teammates Ellis McGaskin and Jaylen Scott. I feed off all these guys and learn from each of them.

Hunxho, NoCap, NBA YoungBoy, and Rod Wave.

What are the strengths of your game?
Everyone talks about my explosiveness off the ball. They also mention my hand usage, especially at such a young age. I think my experience is going to be key to my success going forward. I’ve been starting since seventh grade, so as a 10th grader, I already have the experience of a four-year starting senior.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
It’s a tie between my interception last year and scoring on a blocked punt. Every defensive player loves scoring, and it’s super rare for a defensive end, so both of those moments were really exciting.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
Going against Carde Smith every day at practice for the last two years. He’s the best player I’ve faced, and he pushed me to get better every single day.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Don’t take any days off. There’s always something you can get better at and always something you can be doing to improve.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Dubai.

I was 4 years old when I first stepped on the field.
