I was hurt when we played Jackson High School, but if you count that, then EJ Crowell or Gunner Rivers from St. Michael’s High School.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
My advice right now would be: consistency is key, and how you carry yourself is very important. You have no clue how many people look up to you as someone they want to become one day, so you have to do the right things and have a great work ethic. I’d also say work hard and take care of your body. Keep a good mind and be open to everyone—because you’re never too cool for anything. With all that being said, trust in the Lord and be a servant of God.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would love to travel to Australia.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with football in 1st grade.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I’ve always wanted to meet Tom Brady.
What is your favorite sports moment as a fan?
My favorite sports moment is the 2nd & 26 play in the national championship—Alabama vs. Georgia—touchdown to DeVonta Smith.
