Who are some role models in your life?
Role models would be my brother Karson and my grandfather Ken Clark. My brother plays quarterback for the Naval Academy—he messed up his knee recently and is now a player-coach. My grandpa introduced me to horses. I look up to both of them because they’re hard workers and inspire me to be my best.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Honestly, Randy Travis. I’m a big fan of old country music.
What are the strengths of your game?
My strength is that I love to compete.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
Probably spending time with my dad traveling to San Jose to play for the Hit Squad. That was a lot of fun.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
That’s tough since it’s still early, but right now the best player I’ve played with is Sia Sue’sue. He was our quarterback when I was a freshman. He’s a great leader, and I learned a lot from him.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Your work doesn’t lie. Keep working and believing in yourself. I’ve been blessed to have my brother set the way for me.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
My dad and uncles all played football, but I guess when I was 12 playing in San Jose, I felt like I could do pretty well.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Probably Jordan Love. He played at Utah State and is now one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment was my first Army-Navy game in person. It was crazy!
