I think the strengths of my game are my run blocking and my ability to use my size and athleticism to put people on the ground.

My favorite memory of my career is my first varsity football play. Just feeling the excitement and realizing the potential I had was amazing.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
To a player wanting to be recruited, I’d say do things to get your name out there—post your highlights everywhere and DM coaches. And to people already getting offers, I’d say don’t let yourself get overwhelmed with the attention and always stay humble.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could go anywhere in the world, I think I’d most want to go to the Bahamas or Japan.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was seven years old when I finally convinced my mom to sign me up for little league. I think I fell in love with the sport after my first win—that feeling of winning something was great, and the game became fun for me.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one sports hero, it would be Steph Curry. I’ve always been a Warriors fan, but most of all a Curry fan. I think his mentality is a big factor in why he wins, and I want to apply that to my game.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment is when Marcus Mariota threw the football off the Chiefs defender’s helmet, caught it himself, and dove in for a touchdown.
