I like to stay relaxed before games, so I usually listen to more chill artists like J Boog and Knova.
What are the strengths of your game?
I’d say my biggest strengths are my football IQ and awareness. I study the different fronts I go up against, which helps me understand my blocking assignments and make quick adjustments.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Never compare yourself to others. Everyone’s journey is different. Just keep your head down, stay consistent, and keep grinding.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I’ve always played football, but I really fell in love with the grind around age 12. That’s when I started to understand the work and dedication it takes.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Not necessarily a sports “hero,” but I’d love to meet Justin Dedich. He’s a fellow lineman who made it to the NFL despite being undersized, and I respect the way he worked his way up.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
I’m a big UFC fan. I follow all the big cards and even some of the Fight Night events. There’s nothing like watching a huge main event or seeing a fighter overcome the odds.
