Blake Fiacco is a 3 Star recruit who plays Defensive Tackle at San Juan Hills High School. Who are some role models in your life?
The role models in my life are definitely my parents and my brother. They taught me how to treat people right and show respect to everyone. My dad always said, “Treat the janitor the same way you would treat the president.” I also look up to Kobe Bryant, and every day I try to develop the same mindset he preached.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
My pregame music is all Rod Wave and NBA YoungBoy. Rod Wave gets me locked in, and YoungBoy gets me turnt!

What are the strengths of your game?
My strengths are my ability to execute any pass rush move at an elite level. I also take pride in stopping the run, beating double teams, and getting into the backfield consistently.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory is when I got ranked as a 3-star recruit with over seven offers. I know stars don’t define you, but it was rewarding to be recognized. That said, I never get complacent—the work never stops.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
Hands down, Weston Port from San Juan. He was a 4-star linebacker and committed to UCLA. Super explosive and a great leader on and off the field.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Don’t compare yourself to kids with 20+ offers. Focus on your own journey. Give 100% effort every single day, and trust that your time will come.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Definitely Samoa. I’d love to experience the culture and the beauty of the islands.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I’ve been around football my whole life, but I really fell in love with it in 3rd grade. Growing up in San Clemente, I used to watch Sam Darnold play and remember how much I loved the sound of helmets colliding.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Aaron Donald. He has so much knowledge and has played at an elite level for over a decade. He’s one of the best defensive players of all time.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
When Odell Beckham Jr. finally got his Super Bowl ring with the Rams.
