Tae Walden Jr is a 3 Star recruit who is an Athlete at Collierville High School. Who are some role models in your life?
My role models are definitely my parents and grandparents. I’ve looked up to them for as long as I can remember.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Pregame, I usually lock in with Lucki and NBA YoungBoy. Their music helps me get focused and in the zone.

What are the strengths of your game?
The biggest strength in my game is being a playmaker. No matter where I am on the field or what the situation is, I believe I can make something happen.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
It’s hard to pick, but either scoring 6 touchdowns in a little league game or dropping 2 TDs in the second round of the playoffs last season. Both were moments I’ll never forget.

Who is the best player you’ve ever played with or against?
The best players I’ve played against are Peyton Houston and Jamarion Morrow—those guys are the real deal.

What advice would you give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Don’t compare yourself to anyone else. Keep your head down and stay focused on your own journey. The work will speak for itself.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Japan for sure. I’ve always wanted to experience the culture, the food, everything.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was about 3 years old when I fell in love with football. It’s been part of my life for as long as I can remember.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet any sports hero, it would have to be LeBron James. He’s someone I’ve always admired—on and off the court.

What is your favorite sports moment as a fan?
My favorite memory as a fan was going to Colts games when my dad played.
