Kamden Jennings is a 3 Star recruit who plays Cornerback at Denmark High School. Jennings is ranked as the 635th best recruit in the nation and is ranked as a top 60 Cornerback in the nation as well. In addition, Jennings is listed as a top 80 recruit in the state of Georgia and is listed as a top 10 Cornerback in the state of Georgia. He is committed to play at James Madison.
Who are some role models in your life?
One of my biggest role models is my dad. He’s always been there for me—supporting my football career, giving advice, and helping me stay on the right path in life. I always turn to him when I need direction.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Pregame, I usually bump Lil Baby, Big Scarr, and Money Man. Their energy gets me locked in and ready to compete.
What are the strengths of your game?
My biggest strengths are my speed and competitiveness. Speed helps me close on receivers and make plays in space, but it’s my mindset that separates me—I’m always pushing myself to compete and be the best in every aspect of the game.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite career memory goes back to 4th or 5th grade, during the championship game. I scored my 100th touchdown on a toss sweep—it was one of those moments that made me fall in love with the game all over again.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or against in your career?
The best player I’ve played with is Aaron Gregory. We were teammates on the 8th grade Future Stars team, and he really stood out.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Don’t compare yourself to anyone else. Focus on your own game. God has a plan for you—it’s about timing, hard work, and consistency. Compete every day and trust the process.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’d go to Dubai. I want to see the cars, the city, and experience that kind of lifestyle. It seems like a whole different world.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with football somewhere between 6 and 8 years old. That’s when I realized it’s the greatest game ever—and I’ve been all in ever since.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Ray Lewis, no question. I admire how he thinks about the game, how he teaches it, and how he emphasizes the mental side. That’s something I’m constantly working on improving myself.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite moment as a fan is watching Ed Reed against the Colts.
