Anthony Baxter is a 3 Star recruit who plays Interior Offensive Line at South Pointe High School. Baxter is ranked among one of the top recruits in the nation and is ranked among one of the top Interior Offensive Lineman in the nation as well. In addition, Baxter is listed as a top 15 recruit in the state of South Carolina and is listed as the #5 Interior Offensive Lineman in the state of South Carolina. Who are some role models in your life?
My mother, father, and my coaches. They’ve shaped who I am on and off the field.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Rod Wave. His music gets me in the right headspace.

What are the strengths of your game?
I take pride in making blocks in open space and being a reliable pass blocker.

Who is the best player you’ve ever played with or against?
Deuce Geralds. He’s the best I’ve played with—just a dominant force.

What’s some advice you’d give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Trust God. His plan is always bigger than yours.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Hawaii. It looks peaceful and beautiful—somewhere I’ve always wanted to go.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was 4 years old, watching Tony Romo play. That’s when football captured me.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Travis Frederick.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
LeBron James’ block in the Finals.
