The Next Nittany Lion Star: Landon Tengwall

Landon Tengwall is a 4 Star recruit who plays Offensive Tackle at Good Counsel High School. Tengwall is ranked as the #46 player in the nation and is listed as the #7 Offensive Tackle in the nation as well. In addition, Tengwall is also ranked as the #1 player in the state of Maryland. Landon Tengwall is committed to play at Penn State next fall.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

Yes, I loved the NFL, would always watch the draft and dream of that day.

What high school is your biggest rival?

DeMatha in Maryland

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Youngboy and Chief Keef mostly

What is your offseason training like?

Workout every single day with football training 5/7 days

What is your favorite memory of your high school career?

Winning the WCAC

What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?

Hope I just continue to get better and gain knowledge

What made Penn State stand out from other schools?

 Since I stepped on campus in 8th grade I just knew psu was where I wanted to go.

What do you want to accomplish on and off the field during your time at Penn State?

I want to get a business degree and my childhood goal is to be drafted in the 1st round.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

 I would meet Bellicheck, even though I hate the Patriots he is the greatest mind in football.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

I’m a die hard Steelers fan so winning the Super Bowl in 2008 was very cool. Even though I was young that was the best moment for me.
