Terry Wiggins is a 4 Star recruit who plays Linebacker at Coatesville Area High School. Wiggins is ranked as the 341st best recruit in the class of 2026 and is ranked as a top 25 Linebacker in the class as well. In addition, Wiggins is listed as a top 10 recruit in the state of Pennsylvania and is listed as the #1 Linebacker in the state of Pennsylvania. He is committed to play at Penn State.
Who are some role models in your life?
Two of my biggest role models are my older cousins, Wesley and Devon Lyons. They both played collegiate football and are now great husbands and fathers.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I mainly listen to NBA YoungBoy before games to get hyped.
What are the strengths of your game?
I’d say my biggest strength is my instinct. I’ve been playing the game for so long that I just see and react to things differently than others.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory was getting my first start last year. I ended that game with 2 PBUs, an 82-yard pick-six, and 7 tackles!
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best players I’ve played with are Amir Haskett and Francisco Hall. They’ve taught me a lot, and they were so athletic—they did things I had never seen before!
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Keep working, especially on the days you don’t feel like it. Use everything you’ve been through as motivation.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with the game when I first started playing at 3 years old. I took a football everywhere I went, read football books—everything was football. But in 7th grade, I realized this is what I really want to do.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Probably Troy Polamalu or Deion Sanders—just to get advice from them.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
When the Steelers had all those weapons—Big Ben, Antonio Brown, Le’Veon Bell, Martavis Bryant, and Markus Wheaton.
