Alexander Haskell is a 3 Star recruit who plays Defensive Tackle at St. Joseph’s Prep. Haskell is ranked as the 661st best recruit in the class of 2026 and is ranked as a top 75 Defensive Tackle in the class as well. In addition, Haskell is listed as a top 20 recruit in the state of Pennsylvania and is listed as the #1 Defensive Tackle in the state of Pennsylvania. He is committed to play at Penn State.

Who are some role models in your life?
Some role models in my life are my parents. They work really hard to make sure that me and my brothers are taken care of.

What artists do you listen to pregame to get you hyped up?
I listen to a mix of artists—there’s not really one set artist. It’s mostly a lot of rap music. I also like watching UFC fighter highlight videos; I feel like that gets me hyped.

What are the strengths of your game?
I feel like I’m really good in the run game. I affect every run play in some way, and I’m never going backward. I’m always looking to make the play or do something that can affect the play.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory is my strip sack against IMG. It was my first high school game starting, and it was a big moment in the game when I got the strip sack.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or against in your career?
The best player I ever played with would have to be Josiah Trotter, who’s playing at Mizzou. He was an absolute animal. The best player I’ve ever seen play was the running back for St. Thomas Aquinas three years ago. I don’t remember his name, but he was doing insane stuff.

What advice would you give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Just work hard every day.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would stay in Philly. I love the city; it’s amazing, so I really don’t want to travel to many places.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was 9 when I really started to take football seriously, and I became addicted to it.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Probably J.J. Watt, because his level of dominance was never reached again and probably won’t be for a really long time.

What is your favorite sports moment as a fan?
The Eagles winning the 2017 Super Bowl.
