My role models are definitely God, and my pops and mom. I look up to those three people like no other.
What are the strengths of your game?
Strengths of my game would be trusting in God and using that trust to rely on my technique.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory in my career was definitely the touchdown against Port Neches Grove.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I ever played against was probably Kelvin Washington from Longview.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
The advice I’d give is to just be yourself, stay locked in, keep your eyes on the prize, and don’t listen to haters at all.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere right now, I’d probably go to Oregon or Washington—somewhere with a lot of greenery. But I’d also love to visit Africa or Tokyo in the future. It’s a tough decision!
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I’d say I was around 5 when I started, but about 7 when I truly fell in love with it for sure.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I’d want to meet Muhammad Ali—just how much wisdom and confidence he had stands out to me a lot.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment was definitely the Minneapolis Miracle.
