Brian Harris is a 3 Star recruit who plays Defensive Tackle at Mandarin High School. Harris is ranked as the 532nd best recruit in the class of 2026 and is ranked as a top 70 Defensive Tackle in the class as well. In addition, Harris is listed as a top 80 recruit in the state of Florida and is listed as a top 10 Defensive Tackle in the state of Florida. He is committed to play at Oklahoma.
Who are some role models in your life?
My father has always been a significant role model in my life.
What artists do you listen to pregame to get you hyped up?
I listen to Burna Boy, Rod Wave, and Chief Keef.
What are the strengths of your game?
I’m a very versatile defensive lineman; I can play anywhere on the line.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
The two best memories in my career were games I didn’t even play in due to an injury. One was when we beat Seminole High School to go to the state final, and the other was being on the sideline, cheering on my teammates in the state game.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The toughest player I’ve ever played against was Deryc Plazz. I had to go against him every day at practice for one season, and now he’s a standout at Miami University.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Keep your head down and grind. Don’t look up and compare yourself to others during their time, because your time is coming sooner than you think, and you don’t want to miss it.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Being a God-fearing man, I would like to visit Israel.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
Growing up, I was a big Eagles fan, and when I saw Fletcher Cox play, I fell in love with the game.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would say Brandon Graham. When I started playing, he commented on one of my posts, which inspired me to work harder. He’s a true teacher of the game.
What is your favorite sports moment as a fan?
When the Eagles won the Super Bowl this year.
