Who are some role models in your life?
One of my biggest role models is my mom. She always finds a way to make things happen for me. She sacrifices so much, and I’m always grateful for everything she does.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I listen to Rod Wave before games. His music puts me on a calmer wavelength and helps me focus on what I need to do.
What are the strengths of your game?
I’m strong in down blocking and getting to the next level. I’m a big body with the power to move defenders and clear running lanes.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory is winning the Region Championship this past season with my teammates. We were all so happy—it was a moment I’ll never forget.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve played with would be either Zack Smith, who’s now at Indiana, or Kenny Fairly, a class of 2027 defensive lineman.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Keep working. You can’t always rely on others—you’ve got to want it for yourself and go out and get it.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could go anywhere, I’d choose Switzerland. It just seems peaceful and calm—somewhere I’d really enjoy.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was about three years old when I fell in love with football. That’s when I started playing, and even when I wasn’t on the field, I always wanted to be.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I’ve actually already met my sports hero—Tyler Booker. He’s an incredible lineman and an even better person.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment was Odell Beckham Jr.’s one-handed catch.
